Leslie and Scott were married at the Boston Harbor Hotel earlier this month. I don’t know what has been going on with this weather, but it was of course supposed to pour all day, and early in the day it totally looked like it was going to. I’ve told all my brides who are worried about the rain that it “absolutely” won’t rain on their day, and this was the 8th wedding this year that it indeed held off for them! I know I will regret saying this one day, ha! What can you do? Nothing.
The Chickenslacks were the band that Leslie & Scott hired for their wedding, and if you’ve never been to the Cantab on Thursday nights to boogie to their music, you definitely should! I was so excited to work with them! I also loved the flowers (I know, flowers are normally not my thing!) by Lotus Designs in Boston. Leslie’s step-mother made cake-pops as escort cards, and I got to eat a couple extra, yum!
Thank you Leslie & Scott for having me at your wedding and congratulations on your marriage!

Get a load of these cuties! Alaina and Tom are friends of mine (yay!) and I couldn’t have been happier for them when they anounced their engagement just minutes before Hell Night at East Coast Grill (Where I think we all bonded through the pain… :-p)! They will be married in Rhode Island in October which will be about peak folliage season over there. Can you say gorgeous? For their shoot they wanted to go to their favorite brunch spot (Scup’s in the Harbour) and when we arrived, we learned that they were not reopening for the summer due to medical problems. So. Sad. We got to walk around a little bit which I higly suggest doing if you haven’t before. It’s like an outdoor art exhibit. I’ve included some scenery photos below just so you can see how cool it is over there. Thank you Alaina and Tom for letting me document this exciting time in your life!

I love these two. They are like, cuter than baby bunnies piled on top of bulldog puppies with kittens crawling all over PLUS a cherry on top. I have nothing else to say other than their families are equally cute in every way (now I know where they get it from!). I felt like part of the family all day and night, and there’s nothing better than that. Did I mention how much I love my job?
Christina and Nick, thank you so much for having me document your wedding. To see Polaroids that I took during their day, check here.

Anna & Steve were married at Steve’s childhood church in Clinton, MA and the reception was held at Butternut Farms. You might remember them from their engagement session with their two adorable (and extremely well-behaved) goldens. I love Anna & Steve because they were my official first wedding booking and my last wedding of the year. I think I had zero portfolio to show them, maybe a couple from second shooting. I remember nervously walking into Starbucks on my lunch break to meet with them and as we were sitting there my boss walked in! I totally ignored him, I think he knew what was up.
I cannot thank my couples this year enough (especially these two!) for taking a chance on me!
I was totally in love with this couple’s family. Anna is from Russia and her parents had actually never been to an American wedding! Her mum was so concerned that she was doing everything correct, it was adorable. I told her she could fall on her face, her skirt flying over her head and everything would still be awesome. She laughed. I loved watching the way Steve’s dad played with the children, totally a kid at heart! Here are the photographs…
