I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable couple this weekend.  He popped the question while they were on a boat, they travel the world by sea, and they are getting married at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.  For our shoot we went down to the waterfront and *legally* walked down on the docks.  Hey, when the sign saying “no trespassing” is already ripped down, I say “let’s go!”.

Meet Julie & Mike:

We started out in the parking lot of Anthony’s Pier 4 restaurant because they have a great big anchor just sitting there waiting to be a prop for photographs.  Sidenote: I am related to Anthony Athanas, the man who opened the restaurant!

Julie & Mike brought along their four friends to the shoot who were in town that weekend, so we took a couple of group shots as well.

Julie and Mike were up for anything as far as poses go, and that is one of the things I loved most about them!  They are very laid back and easy going.
