Today I shot Erica and Sam’s wedding in Medford, Massachusetts. The City Hall was the rain location and it is a gorgeous building. It was off and on rain all day and I had a great time shooting here. Here are a few snaps from the event!
I only shot the ceremony for this wedding so you won’t be seeing any dancing photos here. This was the first wedding that I shot solo where I didn’t know the couple, and I am getting more and more comfortable with each wedding!
I love the way her skin looks in this shot…beautiful!
Can’t forget the details!
This wedding is a perfect example of the types of weddings I would like to shoot more. Everything was basically made by hand by friends. I absolutely love that. It’s so wonderful when you have friends and family members help put together the biggest day of your life and it makes that day so personal and special for everyone there.
I am very pleased with how my images came out. I was trying out two new lenses today, a 17-35mm 2.8 and an 85mm 1.4 and I have to say the 85mm 1.4 is my new favorite lens! The 17-35 was great for the wide shots and I used that mostly on my backup camera while leaving the 85 on my primary camera. My new dilemma is deciding which lens to put on which camera, and that means I should just get a second D700? Yes, I think so
